Privacy Policy

How Sorted handles routine records, live lookup requests, exports, and the boundary between personal organization and medical decision-making.

What Sorted is

Sorted is a personal organizer for supplement routines, logging, review, and refill planning. It is not a medical service, not a diagnostic tool, and not a medication safety checker.

This policy describes the data handling expectations for the current release of Sorted.

Information stored in the app

Sorted stores the routine and logging information you enter so the app can show your stack, history, progress, and related summaries.

This may include product names, schedules, notes, check-ins, refill-related details, and exported records that you intentionally create.

When iCloud is available, Sorted uses your private iCloud database to sync routine records across devices signed into the same Apple ID.

Live lookup requests

If you use live product lookup features, Sorted may send the minimum query needed to request a match, such as a search term or barcode, to external lookup providers.

These requests are used to help return product candidates or reference information. They are not a substitute for confirming the label on the bottle.

Community product submissions

If you choose to share a product with the reviewed community catalog, Sorted sends only product label details needed for review, such as brand, product name, barcode, serving details, directions, ingredients, source, locale, app version, and build number.

Sorted does not include your schedule, dose logs, check-ins, notes, profile, mascot, questions, or private routine history in the community copy.

Tracking and advertising

Sorted is designed around personal organization, not behavioral advertising. This policy page does not describe third-party advertising tracking as part of the current product experience.

Exports and deletion

Sorted may allow you to export your records for personal reference. When you export or share information, that action is controlled by you.

If deletion controls are available in the app, they affect the records managed by the app on your device or in the current storage environment.

Medical and safety boundary

Sorted does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or interaction safety decisions.

Questions about supplements, side effects, dosing, prescriptions, contraindications, or treatment plans should be directed to a qualified healthcare professional.

Policy updates

This page may be updated as the product, integrations, or legal requirements evolve.
